AOII Members:
Please understand that we, as Recruitment Chairs, have been elected into these positions. Although some of you may not agree with some decisions we have made, remember we are making choices for the best of the chapter. These decisions are NOT personal attacks. We have thought long and hard about all the choice we have made and we have tried to make, what we believe, are the correct actions for AOII.
We deserve more respect than we have been receiving. There has been a lack of respect on many occasions, from people questioning our choices to verbally insulting our decisions. These acts of disrespect are selfish. Recruitment is not for us and not for you, it is to give the PNM's the best possible experience and for the benefit of our chapter. This is not about personal gains.
We would really appreciate it if the complaining stopped. If you have constructive comments about the recruitment process as a whole, please feel free to contact us. But, if you have a personal problem, don't forget to think about others before yourself and put the chapter first. You are not the only ones putting the chapter before yourself. Recruitment requires team effort and commitment. We have put in countless hours to make this a positive experience for everyone. We are being innovative and trying new things, which may be questionable to some of you, but the least we deserve is respect for our decisions.
